Information and Feedback Session
Wednesday 30 October 2024
Live your best life.
Proudly brought to you by Helping Hand, Westering North Adelaide continues our tradition of renewal, innovation, community, safety, care, wellbeing and support.
Moving here can make later life, your best life.
"Westering" - Opened 9 May 1954
A place to truly belong.
In 1953 Reverend Arthur Strange had the vision to raise enough money to buy Westering, a place that provided an opportunity for 18 women to come into the care of Helping Hand.
He took a risk, he showed flexibility, he was innovative and he was bold. Today, we honour his legacy. And, we honour our origins by using the rare gifts provided by our forebears.
Now, the new masterplan for Westering North Adelaide will ultimately, offer a range of independent living options, residential care, and extensive amenities for the community.
Help us help you live your best life.
Helping Hand is proud to be adding Westering North Adelaide to our retirement community, promising the highest standards in premium retirement living.
Don’t miss your opportunity to create your perfect North Adelaide retirement for over 60s.

Helping Hand masterplan.
Westering North Adelaide is part of Helping Hand’s new and bold vision for the future, which is to create a vibrant and connected wellbeing precinct.
Currently the Rotary House Residential care home is undergoing an extensive refurbishment program to upgrade and enhance the suites and other social spaces.
The dotted line represents our entire masterplan and the upcoming feedback sessions will focus on gathering input for the Childers Street and Buxton Street developments which will cater to independent retirement living residents.
